gardening query

Post by imagranny on Thu Nov 13, 2008 12:53 pm

ages ago I asked for help about how to stop cats digging up my plants. The best advice I had, and someone kindly sent me a sample, was to scatter lion poo.

Sadly I have lost that person's contact details, so does anyone know where I can get hold of some more lion poo please, as I want to plant my bulbs soon??

I pretty sure i saw a few bags in Tesco last night while i was shopping... Very Happy Lion poo indeed!
I reckon your best place to try would be Colwyn Bay zoo.
Wouldnt there be an easier way maybe, like one of those "cut outs" of a cat?

well I was told that if a lion marked his territory there, it scared lower members of the cat family away. Quite sensible really! I will get in touch with the zoo anyway and see if they'll swap me some for a few buns for the elephant!!! Laughing

If you don't hear anything back from the mountain zoo, try Chester zoo.
